Ladies 3rds Blackpool Tour

Easter 2008

The Ladies 3rds sacrificed their Easter break to make the long car journey up to Blackpool for the annual Easter Hockey Festival. The tour was very successful: copious amounts of alcohol was consumed, fines accrued for tour misdemeanors and apparently there was some hockey played! The teams enjoyed the social evenings and mixed well. There was a fancy dress day on Sunday and Colchester went as gangsters. They did not win the fancy dress competition but we can be assured the prizes went to very worthy participants.
